Isoko youth entrepreneurial skills acquisition program(iyesap)2016 - Ozoro

ISOKO NATIONAL YOUTH ASSEMBLY (INYA) ROLLS OUT ISOKO YOUTH ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS ACQUISITION PROGRAM ( IYESAP)2016.

The Comrade Victor Egbo’s led Isoko National Youths Assembly (INYA) has rolled out a youths' empowerment scheme tagged IYESAP. The overall aim of the scheme is to get 100 indigent Isoko youths acquire skills in different trades of their choice so they will be able to support themselves and their families.

The first phase of the scheme is design to enroll FIVE YOUTHS from each of the clans in Isoko as apprentices in any of the following trades:

A) BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICE
i) Welding and fabrication
ii) Plumbing
iii) Electrical installation
iv) POP, Interlocking, Tilling, Painting, Masonry
v) Alumaco Windows

B) HANDICRAFTS
i) Fashion Design/Dress Making
ii) Upholstery

C) PERSONAL SERVICES
i) Catering/Confectionary
ii) Decoration/Event Management
iii) Hair dressing/Makeover
iv) Hair Barbing
v) Vulcanizer
vi) Car driving
vii) Computer Appreciation- MS Word, MS Excel, and Power Point
viii) Internet surfing/web designing
ix) Health and Safety Environment (HSE) Competence
x) Auto Mobile Electrician
xi) Auto Mechanic
xii) Roofing
xiii) Photography/Videoing
xiv) Panel Beater
xv) Furniture

D) (i) Fisheries
ii) Poultry

E) ARTISTIC MEDIA PRODUCTION
i) Screen Printing/ Heat transfer (T-shirts, Face caps and Mugs)
ii) Signage Production and fonts Fabrication
iii) Computer Graphics

At the end of their apprenticeship period, the beneficiaries will be empowered with starter packs .

QUALIFICATION FOR THE SCHEME
1. Must be an Isoko
2. A strong desire to be enrolled into an apprenticeship scheme and willingness to stay to the end of there's apprenticeship scheme.

A team of independent professionals who are Isokos, drawn from the social media advocacy family have been contacted to act as Consultants (this will cost you just 6,000 thousand naria only to obtain the form) for the selection process. This is to ensure that the selection process is transparent and only those who genuinely need this empowerment benefits. We hereby appeal to the social media advocacy community to support this project by giving it the best publicity possible and also help act as watchdog to ensure successful candidates are truly those who need it.
